Greeva Vasti ayurveda therapy

Greeva refers to neck and vasti stands for retaining or holding, Thus greeva vasti means an ayurvedic treatment in which medicated herbal oil is poured and pooled for a fixed period of time in a ring over the nape of neck.

Procedure:

Dough is made up of black gram flour with water and form this dough as a ring and placed on the neck. Suitable oil is chosen and heated passively. This warm oil is poured into the ring made up of dough. Once oil gets cooled, it is replaced by warm oil. After finishing treatment oil and dough are removed and prefer a warm water bath.
